I started taking yoga classes in my early 20's. This was a time when I was overwhelmed, exhausted, and felt deeply alone in a bad marriage.
This was the early 90's so yoga access was limited and instead of feeling better I struggled to follow along, and to relax the “right” way.
I didn’t yet have language yet for ADHD or neurodivergence, I assumed the problem was me.
It took years of trying different types of yoga before I stopped blaming myself and started paying attention to what my body had been telling me all along.
That process slowly shaped the work I share here. Neurodivergent Yoga grew out of the realization that many people spend years trying to fit themselves into systems that don’t really support how their nervous system works.
Midlife is the time for us to stop forcing ourselves into things that don’t work and step into practices that support us where we are right now
This space focuses on nervous-system support through simple, everyday practices. It isn’t fitness-based yoga, and it isn’t about pushing for consistency or results.
You won’t be asked to keep up, follow a strict routine, or do more than your day allows.
⭐Everything here is offered as support and education, not as medical or mental health care.
You do not need flexibility.
You do not need a routine you can maintain every day.
This work meets you where you are and changes with you. Some days, doing less is the practice. Some days, rest is the work.
If your past experiences with yoga left you feeling behind or out of place, this is meant to feel different.
I bring a long personal relationship with yoga into this work, alongside professional training in yoga, mindfulness, and nervous system–informed support.
My work focuses on supporting neurodivergent adults around sleep, overwhelm, energy limits, and daily-life regulation. This approach has developed through a combination of lived experience, formal study, and ongoing work with people whose nervous systems do not fit one-size-fits-all wellness models.
My training includes:
Certified yoga teacher (Kundalini and Hatha)
Neurodiversity-affirming coaching and education
Mindfulness and meditation training
Holistic wellness and nervous system–focused study
Holistic Nutrition and Ayurveda
Background in humanities and somatic inquiry
I work primarily with neurodivergent women and take a practical and simple approach to yoga and wellness.
I believe support should meet people where they are, not ask them to push past their limits.
